How To Care for Your Jewelry:

Proper care of your precious pieces will keep your jewelry sparkling for years to come. Here are some cleaning tips for different types of jewelry:

  • Gold-Filled: avoid contact with liquids: water, perfume, hairspray, lotion and cleaning products. Keep it dry. Best practice is to store it in a small airless plastic bag after each use. When tarnished over time, you can “VERY GENTLY” rub a baking soda paste around and over the jewelry to remove dark spots and restore yellow color. Remember: do it VERY GENTLY!
  •  Gemstones: in general avoid using harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners, as they can damage certain gemstones.

Proper storage is a key to prevent scratches, tangles or damage to your jewelry:

  • store each piece of jewelry separately to prevent scratching - use pouches or soft cloth wraps to keep them apart 
  • avoid humidity - moisture tarnishes metals and damage certain gemstones - store your jewelry in a dry place (away from sunlight and humidity)
